A Wärtsilä case study published on 16 September reported methane slip of 1.67% and 1.48% on two MSC Cruises ships, against the 3.1% FuelEU Maritime default. Brittany Ferries had argued in 2025 for measured-value reporting after recording 1.57% on SALAMANCA, and in March 2026 Bureau Veritas verified measured values for four of its LNG ships for MRV and FuelEU purposes.
