Molslinjen took over the Strömstad–Koster Islands ferry service on 27 September 2026, operating as Kosterlinjen. Torghatten, like Molslinjen owned by Nordic Ferry Infrastructure, originally won Västtrafik's tender. The existing biofuel-powered Kostersund and Kosterbris will run the route until two fully electric ferries under construction in Finland are delivered in early 2027.
