Shippax reported on 28 October 2026 that Polferries' Gdansk–Nynäshamn service will move from the ferry terminal in Nynäshamn to Stockholm Norvik Port on 8–9 November. Camilla Strümpel, director of strategy and communications at Ports of Stockholm, told Nynäshamns Posten. The move was planned for September and was postponed because of delays in the delivery of glazing for the passenger check-in booths at Norvik. Passengers who had already booked autumn crossings were also taken into account.
Ports of Stockholm says the timetable between Gdansk and Sweden will not change. Norvik lies less than five kilometres from Nynäshamn but away from the town centre, and foot passengers are to be taken by bus to Nynäshamn railway station for trains to Stockholm. Polferries' ships made trial calls at Norvik in the spring.
