Financial News reported on 5 November 2026 that Queen Jenuvia, a car-ferry passenger ship on the Mokpo–Jeju route, will return on 7 November after about five months out of service. The 27,391-ton vessel has a passenger capacity of 1,284.

Sea World Express Ferry said on 5 November that Queen Jenuvia had been suspended for a routine ship inspection from 28 May through 6 November, and is scheduled to depart for Jeju from Mokpo International Passenger Terminal at 1 a.m. on 7 November. The ship is 170 metres long. The voyage between Mokpo and Jeju takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes.

After service resumes, the regular schedule is departures from Mokpo at 1 a.m. and from Jeju at 1:40 p.m. That schedule applies to Mokpo departures from Tuesday to Saturday and to Jeju departures from Tuesday to Friday and on Sundays. Monday schedules vary by week, and there are no scheduled Saturday departures from Jeju. Departures may vary with weather and operating conditions.

During the suspension the operator renovated onboard facilities, including converting some of the existing four-person family rooms into character-themed cabins for children. It held an event aboard the ship at Mokpo International Passenger Terminal at 6 p.m. on 3 November.
