Washington State Ferries delays the winter reservation release to 10 November
Washington State Ferries has postponed the winter vehicle-reservation release to 10 November at 10 a.m. The delay is so reservations reflect terminal closures in the San Juans and at Coupeville in February and March, while vehicle transfer spans are upgraded.

The 29 October 2026 weekly update from Washington State Ferries says the winter schedule vehicle-reservation release has been postponed until Nov. 10 at 10 a.m. The system said the change accommodates reservation adjustments during major terminal work in the San Juans and Coupeville in February and March, so that upcoming closures to upgrade vehicle transfer spans are reflected in reservations.
The update says the delay was made so the team could finish that adjustment, and it apologises to people who had planned to make reservations that week.
